New at buildingSMART! ... decon Deutsche Energie-Consult GmbH in Dresden
For some time now, decon has been successfully facing the new requirements resulting from the increased digitalization of planning and construction processes and sees its own implementation of the BIM methodology as the decisive course for the future. Consequently, decon has also been a member of buildingSMART e.V. since the beginning of April.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the contemporary working method for the planning, construction and operation of buildings. BIM is based on the active networking of all participants throughout the entire life cycle of a building. Clearly defined conventions are required for the associated processes and interfaces. As part of the international buildingSMART movement, buildingSMART Germany has been committed to this for many years. In order to spread the idea of Open BIM and to promote the exchange of experience and information, decon is increasingly involved in networking and professional exchange at national, international and regional level.
